Cory Murphy is an award-winning scholar who left his hometown at the age of 20 to escape heroin addiction. After spending the first few years living on food stamps, he went back to college in his new home and traveled the world. It wasn't until he was awarded his university's highest award that he ever disclosed his past struggle with opioid addiction.

Now an aspiring author and engineer at a world leader in jet engine manufacturing, and with more than a decade of being drug-free under his belt, he has launched this site and began writing to share the story of his recovery to give hope to those whose loved ones are currently fighting addiction and to inspire anyone battling addiction to never stop searching for help.
